Much like the beginnings of a flower
We come into the world without choicePure and without much powerCan't change the start, we have no voiceBuried deep in the warmth of shadeAt the mercy of the world around usAfter time and nourishment the endless night will fadeBrought into the light with a slight fussWe sprout, fresh air, life starts hereTo live under the light of the sunThough nothing at first is clearWell that's only true for one.The flower knew what is was from the seedWe struggle to find meaningful existenceTo simply be apart of the ecosystem is all they needWe'll sell our souls for some type of importanceTo be like a flower with out a careTo know little to no stress To dance with the current of the airTo see the beauty in rain and the sun's caressInstead of breaking my back for the planetThe atlas of those I care forPatience seems like it'll never break, can it?Sometimes it feels like less would be moreLike the flower all I want is to growFacing the direction of the lightTo know what I wish to knowIs my photosynthesis my talent to write?
