Valentines Day, came and went,
and with it, much money is spent.
Flowers dehydrating , candy eaten, dinner long since digested.
Jewelry neatly arranged in its box, cards once strung, now put away.
Does he still love you, I'm talking today?
If he went through the motions, he does feel,
however no amount of manmade material giving,
denotes the feeling is real.
Love comes not from the fold of his wallet,
yet the desire of his heart, and if you are in it,
he loved you from the start, in its every part!
Don't measure a treasure, by the width of his financial giving.
Or you just might miss the chance, of having true love,
with a Man of Men , practice love by forgiveness.
Does he love you? Do you love him?
Money can never replace, what was started as friends...
