can you imagine turning over stones

in a lot filled with dry bones

discovering uncovering what hides

behind the writing on the wall

let it all fall down on me I’m allright

it’s only a injury another wound to bleed

on the pieces of paper on my floor

I’m old school every once in a while I hit keys

It’s much easier to backspace & delete

I like my poetry in between the sheets

where a nice and slow flow puts me to sleep

then you appear in a lucid dream

up all night listening to you recite to me

I wanna open my  eyes up but I don't want to peek 

 look at u, you got me smiling in my sleep

baby, you could hush a crying baby by singing

a lullaby a cradlesong you’re so pretty babe

I love your ditty babe how bout it babe

your rhyme on top of my rhyme
