have you ever sat at bar
wanting a drink coz something
happened that made you think
that you needed a drink
before you actually acted on your feelings
like doing something that would dub
you a villain I know how you're feeling
I've been there with the barstool
in my hands police on the way
helicopter in the air
waving my hands around
like I don't care a bad scene
to be seen in when feelings are involved
problems are masked to be solved
closure always leaves an opening
like wounds that won't heal
gaps that are hard to fill
people need to know how we feel
chaining a beast won't make it heel
it only makes us more resentful
though we try to be good truth is
we are sinful letting go is simple
yet so complex we are thinkers
who remembers all of the pain
who caused the pain and as long
as we continue to remember things
the hurt will always remain
coz of the trauma we are
already insane it just takes 1 thing
to take us there
