just different

winds rising faster

with each moment passing

casting an unseen force

…focusing it widely…

sending clouds of dust flying

throwing leaves on the trees

as if in a panic to cry

first in unified wailing

then into a feverish frenzy

large droplets of rain

…begin to fall…

heavy thuds furrow

into the parched earth

next come thick sheets of water

hurtling forward thru space

with the rain flowing as if alive

around objects in its path

following, with the wind

…a pathway…

neither you or i can see, before

so we must follow with our eyes

to know its future

rather than from its past
