will be sorted
from saviors,
there will be time
for reflection,
for celebration
and for weeping,
redemption
as well as
promise keeping,
will there be
a just resolution
for the ills of the world
without the comedy of errors
of corporate commercial interference,
political
patriotic bogeyman
it’s banter and malfeasance
will we all see one another,
sisters and brothers,
equal partners
in a struggle to coexist
with compassion,
commitment
with integrity
trimmed of excesses
abandon foolish pride,
false respect,
stop disrespecting
who we are
knowing where
we have come from
begin offering our truth
just because
a just cause
is our only salvation
We
must recognize
in ourselves
if love is the answer
we are necessarily a part
of the solution
