before the morning mists
sending, its soft silvery cloud adrift
like...
kisses spread across the earth
and everything it touches
with morning dew

as my tossing turning, 
reaching yearning arms

seek to find
connecting like vines
of darkened corners 
from a shadowy realm 
leaping towards the sun
with warm embraces
...where are you?

gently descending from worlds of slumber
a coalescing consciousness
begins to form 
clouds of potentialities 
are gathered and disperse
like fallen raindrops
feeling the natural forces
which determine their courses
and i... fall into my morning clothing
like an afterthought
seeds for the streams of thoughts about today
begin to pour more freely now
from a waterfall of happenstance
to what we think we ought to do

with potions of our bodies
essential elements

starts to stirring
torrents
of living energy
arriving like the sunrise 
to morning skies
to face each new days
promise
where to deliver 
our portion of happiness
a smile inward, with a prayer 
for understandings 
all blessings
to the giver
of life
...the bringer of light
i look to you again
as we nod and turn together
as we all should think to consider
what each momentary gift
we might deliver
to make our tide of existence
just a little more
right

then
swiftly rise

an urge for cofee,
a morning toffee?
a call to a loving snuggle fest
to leap up and stretch our wings
before we leave 
the warmth and comfort 
of the nest

never a doubt as to why, 
as i remind you you are
