Electric moons and gentle guitar melodies
As you play me tunes in muffled heartbeats with your eyes
And when the moment fits the mood, dancing beneath the moon
While the sun serenades us from afar
its shadow, in reverse
...cast
off the moon
...with its magical bending display of starlight
Casting a warming glow to illuminate ...the night world's brighter side
Reflections reaching around corners with reflections so strong
...cascading off of everything in sight,
Blends even into the shade... and from the shadows fly
Sparks of our passions, thoughts blending softly into the calm serene
In recurrent scenes we like to share, to know with passion and delight,
dispelling the primal fears we held as children
Of unknown dangers in the dark
And a world of sight we dare explore by candlelight
With sharp edges flickering like strobe lights
Memories in joyous waves of pleasure,
Derived from intense drives of currents
Within our hearts and minds places we can't hide...
Although, it seems as if our dreams
...come and go in tides
Even our children are cast in its echoes
Reflections from the moon ever falling back to earth
As the sun still on parade on the other hemisphere
Leaping off the other side as earthshine
To camouflage from you and i
