Streaking down our cheeks
In the waning lights of summer days
Across these so many years
In reflections so clear and true
Echoes of our inner minds,
When we're calm enough to wade
Within our spirit pools
...tears of joy glowing,
 
Taken by surprise
With emotion, rising tides
To melt into the flow
Of passing times,
Returning seasons of our minds
