Chasing the Devils

where i come from

they keep on coming

even when they get tired

...they never get tired...

just keep on coming

and coming and coming

playing with the devil...

if that's what you do

we'll put out your fires

and shut off your steam

turn on the water of life

and give back the dream

and that's what happens to all the freaking devils

when they get tired of jivin', hate'n kill'n and lie'n

foul, new blood steps forward to take their place

so you're the new fallen angel, taking  the reigns

who is lost to the way to the truth and the light

one more lost soul ignited

trying to create a disaster

trying to find their own way

trying to be their own master

carrier of a vile disease call it

do as you please. i have no pity

for you, while you mislead and

deceive taking advantage of fools

...didn't they tell you about me

i've got the blood of the lamb

in me and my soul's been set free

i am who i am, don't look now

when you finally see the light,

that's brighter than bright

know that's nobody to you

...i am everyone i need

to be, i am just a man

who believes... we were

put here to follow a star

be all you can be and be

...who you are...

all that i need to be

is in me

Thank you, my friend... too bad this format doesn't make it easy to support it, this poem was designed as a cross
