for all the wrongfully accused
the multitude of victims you’ve pointlessly abused
…that you will relent 
The hatred and sickness of the mind
Of justice a la carte,
Jurisprudence misaligned
Repent from the idea that fraction of a man
Represents who or what we are, in truth
Or what we represent to you…
…will you reverse the tides of discrimination
That have characterized your impact and influence
Or will that be called …reverse discrimination
False arrest…
Harassment without just cause
Turning your head from the cries 
of the survivors pleading for reconsideration
…of the blight of blatant racism
Which still exists
In this day and time…
In this great nation

…who are you trying to fool
Is it true
That in order for a law to come forth
To correct the injustice
The same body of persons
Representing
Some of the people
Some of the time
Will protect the interests
Of the accused
Of attempted genocide
Of false incarceration
Of forced sterilization
Of ghetto sizing multiple generations
Of people

were trying to get a hand up
Rather than a hand out
Forty elephants

Tie up litigation

trying to make things right

in a weakened state

to criticize

stall 
any progress, 
being made…

degrade
and derail

attempt to
