I just woke up from
Dreaming of a woman I met last summer
I had just dropped off my nephews
Hopped on the city bus and
She sat right next to me
I couldn't believe it
Shocked at first
My nevous shaking could of knocked her purse down
Couldnt find the words to blurt out
we rode the bus in silence
My face to the window
Trying to hide my shyness
My stop came before hers
I said excuse me
The only two words I'd spoken toward her
She stood and stepped to the side
Her knee grazed mine as I stood we locked eyes
Remembering this stop was mine I said...goodbye
