The grunion
Are tiny fishes
Which come ashore to breed
A harvest brought home
With the tides...
Moon turned, flow
...rise and ebb
And if, ever
When
...our yearnings
Lead us to do this dance
As we so often do
Though, if not by chance
Who might ever know
What joy our interactions bring
Due with all intent, to provide
...a more pleasant distraction
Which, at times...
Create cascades of emotions
Beyond our capacity to contain
...within ourselves
And so we slip and slide
In and out of ecstasy
Nearly to the bursting point
Time and again, filled with a passion...
We've been building ever higher
With each moment spent
Intimately intertwined...
With endless forays
Attempts
...to expend
Our loving energies
To play with interactions,
By design
Starting to unwind our essence
In the tension, building faster
Than the question, why?
Through reflections of love
Lighting up our faces
Setting us afire with an aura
Mutually delighted,
Until, at last
We can no longer fight it
...intense foreplay
New dimensions
Beyond
What solace temptation
Can provide
...until we explode, inside out
As we overflow, lost within ourselves
With romantic notions... Exposed
Floating helplessly, upon an ocean of bliss
Caught up in currents of feelings
Basking in the afterglow
Feeding our spirits,
Filling our souls
Surrendering
To a happiness
Beyond ...control
With a sense
Of compassion
With a newfound
...freedom
Beyond all imagination
With treasures of the soul
Sharing, between the hearts
Of you and i ...beaming smiles,
Softly burning... Yet full of life
Faces lit with subtle hints...
Of peace and calm
All told, by the gleaming
Expressions of togetherness
As we walk hand in hand
Beneath the stars
Its meaning clear...
To those
Who watch above us...
Looking for the signs of love
The creator has left us
Duty bound to provide
For one another
In our lives
As self evident
Upon our every touch
Forever, written
In our hearts
With eyes
Experienced
At tasting
...each others
Pleasure...
Never withholding
What we do not fear to share
Leaving nothing more...
Or less, than we might honor
Within our lives

With a life companion

The Creators wish...
