I wish I could go back
before the glass broke
before the meltdown
before the bad news
before it all unfolded
before the choice, I made
long before thinking it over
selfishly, I was just, trying to get over
something
the more I tried to get over
the more I had to overcome
once the battle is won
it is wise to, reload our guns
coz, war never ends
it just pretends
to cease
