hurting mothers do too
deadbeat dads die long before
you have a chance to bond
trying to live life without
is like walking with your shoes untied
who can call you barefoot
your shoes are black
with white strings attached
your toes are cold
your nose is red
it has not bled
holding a sweet cookie
in your hand
one bite
tells you, the cookies bland
