You are more than a poem.
All my life you have been a great influence and source of strength and love.
For me, you were a destination sought out on many occasions.
The link to who I am and where I belong.
You have been a model, a foundation, a mother, grandmother, and teacher.
The things you taught cannot be found in a classroom.
You are a living example.
We all are seeds birthed from this wombman.
God's greatest creation.
So many times I sat or stood beside you.
So many memories and expressions are ingrained in me.
There are no words with enough substance and value that reflects the respect I have for you.
There are no words that can capture and relay the actions of love and encouragement I received growing up.
Though the order of life would dictate that God gave me to you, but the truth is that I believe God gave you to me.
