father bless me where I stand
touch me where it hurts
"you know, I'm not going to church
the last time, I was there
I couldn't find you anywhere
not in the pulpit, not in the choir stand
no where in the pews
the pastor preached prosperity
but, where was the, good news
he was the only one wearing new shoes

fix in me what use to work

the words are watered down
with a chase, I went in hungry and I
left with a taste of cracker meal
