When his anger
Leads to harsh words
Verbal abuse, attacking your character
And then he gets physical
"But it was just a push"
Until he balls up his fist
Get out while you still can
You don't know his plan
And even when he promised
It would never happen again
You can't be sure
If this abuse will ever end.

Black lives matterWe're not supposed to talk about it Talk about how racism still exists We're supposed to hang our heads low And not let our anger show They expect us to just endure The beatings, the murders, the torture The same ones who should protect and serve They don't think the black man deserves Deserves the respect, deserves his rights And what are we supposed to do Sit back and not fight I fear for my future son To have to explain to him That there's no such thing As equality Not in this world They only see what they choose to see The color you appear to be The brown skin on your outer being Who you are doesn't mean a thing Because to them you're just another "" on the streets And the badge they carry will protect them From all of the violence The violence they are creating to begin with But my dear future son Always hold on and stay strong For you will know better That black lives matter. |

Catch your fateI lay under the blackened sky stars blinking a code at me but I didn't understand confusion and frustration built up inside me turned to go into the house gust of wind whirled around me spun me several times fear trembled thru my soul across the yard I saw a ghostly figure naked and calling my name he motioned me to come near each step I took felt like slow motion seemed like miles I slithered stood in front of him shaking he reached out and touched me a chill shook my bones snapped his fingers pointed up to the sky when I looked up it went blank stars and moon gone it slowly turned a plum purple visions in the sky appeared one star at a time took shape so mesmerized I didn't notice my chest bleeding naked transparent creature with his back to me was tossing something in the air tossed it way high above him then vanished the object was falling to the ground as it got closer I could see it was a heart it was bright purple so I knew it was mine echo of... |
covered in bloodI walk alone in the dark The snow swiriling around me The thoughts in my head Are trying to overtake me I cannot remember the past few hours And the questions keep forming All I remember is the man Coming towards me And my vision going red I need a clue as to what happened Something that can help me remember But as I look at my hands The memories come back Because thay are covered In blood |
