I wanted to write about love but the words never come out
They refuse to escape the walls of my mind
Yet they block all passages and
All that is left is the reflection of what I have with you
All that is left is the smile that is drawn on your face
Whenever I proclaim my love for you
All that is left is the invisible smile that your heart possess
Whenever my arms are around you
This is not a poem about love
But words that reflect the intense feelings I have whenever I am with you
I will not lie and say what we have is perfect
Because perfection does not exist
It is in the imperfection of this thing that we call love that our two hearts have met
It is in the imperfection of life
That I embrace the fact that I have a better existence with you by my side
This is not about love but he emotions that speed
Through my veins every time we kiss
This is a reflection of the feeling that cruise through my body whenever I hold you
That sense of peace that is embodied in your hello whenever I hear it
No amount of words could truly embody the way I feel about you
So I write this
No matter when my blood boils with anger at something you did or said
I will not forget that it is those same lips
That forever show me what your heart can never utter but feels
It is your actions that shows me that I am truly loved
When I am so happy that I cannot think straight
I will not promise you the world
For I do not have the power to bring the stars to you
But I can say this I will forever give you my world for like the sun
I will orbit around you and be rejuvenated by the light that I receive from you
I will orbit around your existence until we can merge as one like our hearts have done
