People Who Talk During A Movie

The dim light caressed them Following the railing of lights, the dark blue carpet with red and purple freckles They sat side by side in a row of tight fitted chairs Alone in the theater besides the actors on screen. The projector started rolling. You could hear the film rattling between brief moments of silence. The dim lighting turned to darkness Tucking them in their seats Darkening the deep red curtains that surrounded The light from the projection shone in front of them. After light conversation and a couple previews of movies to come, the movie began. The screen lit as bright as it could They shone like two stars in the sky watching the moon A tall man appears above, ushering a chair for a young woman He sits across from her staring into her eyes Admiring the scenery outside at an iron rod table surrounded by endless mounds of sand At first nothing happens Tension builds as the sun evades the shade at their feet He showers her with affection Recounting the events of how they first met Starting with timid questions traveling the banks of her memory A sensual caress just as the wind sweeps through the sand The look across her face seems vaguely familiar Sparking the doorway to her smile He mentions that he loves her incase she forgot "How?" She asks "We didn't even stop at the concession stand." Silence rattles the wind "The popcorn looked stale." He states "You couldn't smell it when we walked in." "How do you know we didn't even stop." "It looked stale." Contradicting the fact we just ate." "It's still common courtesy to ask at least." "I knew you were on a diet." I didn't want to offend you." "You just knew I was going to throw it at you!" He lifts her hand then kisses it. She feels a slight pressure against the sides of her hand He pulls her closer, lost in the comfort of her memory Wrapping his arm around her. "I love that dress she is wearing! I know I'd look good in it." Wouldn't you think I'd look good in it?" Thoughts?" "Maybe a different color, though." "Excuse me!?" "I'm just saying!" With something that bright you'd look like a crayon." A sexy crayon at that." He could see the universe in her eyes No longer surrounded by a ripple of stars A radiant array of spectrum Gleaming, echoing about, one more beautiful than the next Silver linings filled with the gleam of metallic halos The look of her eyes He was engulfed by them, the very windows of her soul He wished to sit closer to them "You know when I was little." I use to think people lived inside the movies I would watch." "Like in the literal sense." People constantly reliving the same reality." "Yes." A comfort of no matter what would happen. Everything would be the same." "How fun would that be? To constantly relive the same moment. Nothing ever changing." "Depends on how you look at it. Then again it depends on what kind of movie your watching." "How is that?" You still haven't answered my question?" "I hate people with one tract minds." "Oh, Really now?" "Pretty much." "What about them?"The people in the desert? "What about them?" "What would you do if you were stranded there?" "First off, what in the blue hell would I be doing in the desert?" I don't have a reason to go there." "I guess it depends on what movie your watching!?" "One tract minds." "You should be more the man in the movie." "You should be more like the woman who just stormed out." "I didn't know she was sitting behind us." How loud were we!?"
