The cars move one by one. Jolting past one another Without a look, or a single glare. A Rhythm of wind insisted Without need for breath. Conveying deep emotion, The litterbug throws a piece of paper out the window. Crumbled To be ran over, and over Thrown up high then back down low with no place to go. Then it happened. The thought occurred that this was life without you Everything Paused. Single file, with no place to go. No life outside of sputtering frustration in inevitable stride. Leakey tail pipes and busted down vehicles The blasting of horns and irritable folk. This was my life without you
