I wouldn't be rich
just stuck with a lot of dimes
a lot of things on my mind
it's hard sometimes
not to want out
it's too deep
to swim in
too high to climb
my mind keeps on
drawing lines
I try to cross
still in line
I feel pain
on everything
see tears before they fall
when they do
it's hard to catch 'em
in time so let 'em fall
I got 10 cent for them all
you can have 10%
of the take
more than a piece
of cake cost
find the missing
gather the lost
go far to see more
door to door
dropped a lot of crumbs
on the floor
up late for the update
sweep up
mop and shine
if it ain't worth a nickel
here's a dime
