Forgive me Father for I have sinned, I have put down a pen to pick up a sword, I thought these hard invisible metal tins that have been put around my soul would shield me, that to become a warrior I needed to conform to the level of humanity and disavowed the Godliness in me, wars were fought blood got spilled, these hands are dirty all because I started believing in me and only me!!! So forgive me Father for I have sinned It was never deliberate but I had to lose who I thought I was to become who you want me to be, I even left home in search of who I was, and when I found peace in death the dark became my sole companion, my life became a glimmer of a memory in the conscience of many man, no place felt like home nor it be safe, the light became my greatest nemesis, and I found ways to obliterate it So Forgive InI Jah Your Son has sinned I thought I knew, I thought I was familiar with your ways thus I got lost in this maze, silence became too loud and even though I was listening I couldn't hear you when you tried to speak your word into my life, but a cup that's already full cannot be filled, proverbs do not lie!! the lessons life had taught became my sole reference, in this blind spot I failed to see the full picture!!! See trials and tribulations don't make a man, decisions and actions in a time of tribulation determine the person you are!!! So forgive me Father for am about to Sin!! I have returned!! Much like the enemy I have come to kill steal and destroy!!! I wanna kill the dark, liberate my brethren from a cloud that dwells above their minds clouding reasonable judgment! I wanna steal the sorrow away from the face of children, see their faces glimmer with hope for a better tomorrow cause I heard dreams are illegal in the ghetto!!! I wanna destroy barriers that restrict your children from crossing over into the promise land, free society from the chains of the past that binds them to nothing!!! So forgive Me Father Your Son has sinned.
