She gazed at him
Never smiled
Simply looked at his eyes
And stared at his soul
He stood there
Perplexed
A million thoughts
Running through his mind
Like wild horses
Running through the plains
Charging the ground
Until dust remained
In the confusion of it all
Dust covered thoughts
Plagued him
As she opened her mouth
Uttering words
And phrases that pierced
Him deep like daggers
Straight to the core
Stunned to silence
By poison laced questions
He was paralysed
Into silence
When she finally drew
Her lips closed
Awaiting a response
All while gazing at his eyes
To see if lies
Won't be hidden there
He remained still
Silence filled the room
They resided in
Walls whispering
All that they had seen
Happening there
She stood up
Walked to the door
All while he remained stunned
Standing center of the room
Trying to figure out
What befell on him
By the time he awoke
And dust had settled
She had walked out
Leaving a tear covered trail
