You haven't been gone that long
But
It seems like forever
I checked my calendar
It haven't even been 2 weeks
Feels like eternity
I've been ripping and running keeping myself busy
Because I know if I sit to long I'll think of you
I'm afraid of the day that I sit down and think of you
And
As I try to get up to find a distraction
I won't have anything to do
But
Face the fact that you're gone
Like right now
Deep breath as I slowly let it out
I feel numb
I'm just staring at my phone as I write this poem
Thinking
Damn
That's someone else out of my life gone
I shouldn't be use to this
