North Carolina Still Doesn't Get It

Carolina found itself in a stew
In a big bind over HB2
Political third rail
Legislators have failed
Bad choices affect more than a few

Millions of dollars at stake
Sports revenues they won't take
Their loss, someone's gain
How much pain
Will they take before pumping the brakes

What exactly is their alibi?
They must know that this won't fly
Hard head - soft behind
Out of their minds
Allowing cash to go bye-bye

NC spokesman mentioned Baylor rape
Looking for a goat to scape
Where was she
When those women agreed
To go after the NCAA

Law was signed by Gov Pat McCrory
So what pray tell is his story?
Best get on his motor
Listen to voters
His career will not end in glory
