Just imagine if the script were flipped

In an alternate world he'd give a s***

Perhaps when you cried he'd look you in the eyes

And with his own hand

Wipe away every tear

But he's the cause of those lonely nights

Those fights without reason

Endless arguments

Displeasing. 

Obscenities  

Being screamed 

At high volume

Yet not from loud picture screens

He's not the prince on T.V

As wise as you are 

You begin so quick to fix 

The mold that once held your character

But your barrier broke

And with each action taken without 

Thought

Both your paths cross

No longer strangers in a cold world

You never realize what you could have had

If only you taught yourself

Soon enough

Is not too soon

In just a few minutes he'll be leaving you

What will you do?

You can't beg

You'll ruin your pretty face

What if the script were flipped?

Maybe he'd give a s***

Perhaps he stayed 

Never leaving you home at night

You could rest at ease

Because with you is where he'd love to be

He worships the very ground you walk

Even in the mirror

He stands aside

To see that perfect body

You’ve been blessed with

Although I must confess

He wants your sex

Let’s make love

You say

But he's already pushing his d***

In your face 

Where's the dignity in this?

This script is written backwards

Broken without a fix

Tied only with loose ends

You're in too deep

To just be friends

You cant pretend

After all, 

You're just doing what you've been taught
