Why do we choose to sleep?

and blankets of shame

Where is recognition of our might?
Stealing hope like savages thieving amongst the midnight
Why is it that we never choose to collab?
Bankrupt in education
But spending countless energy on the latest “dab”???
Where has it all gone?
Lost within the walls of our own home?
Are there none left strong?
Or was it buried in tomb of our leaders’ thrones?
