I saw a man with only
minutes to go
5 minutes later
that man was dead
shot in the torso
and in the head
the blast knocked
the shoes off of his feet
looked like, he had
burst all over the street
at only 7, I knew he was
cursed, if he were blessed
he would not have been
in such a mess, I could
not look away, though
my mother urgently tried
to cover my eyes
I saw a man of fait
meet his demise, that day
on 28th, I saw
the angel of passing
carry him away
I could not look away
