somewhere else
to worship you
don't need to be on bended
knees to talk to you
so glad I found you
on my own, in need
of an ear to whisper too
you are one of great
understanding, knowing
exactly what I'm planning
you are more than worth
standing for, having to
pray and pray some more
for what's in store, still
turning pages though
many were torn during
the war, I know you
are the one who brought
me thus far and will be
the one to carry me over
you stood at my door
