Treasure once came from the sea,
Via blubber, pearls, and algae,
Merchants hunting whales and shells,
Pirates risking life and limb to get more,
To sell and buy goods ashore,
Until we dug down deep in the dirt
To steal oil, minerals, and gold from earth.
