 What Do They Really Want?
It’s a question that puzzles & taunts my mind
On one hand they say they want a hardworking, Respectable, & Mature man;
You know someone they can actually rely on and trust
But I’ve come to learn that they say one thing but actually seem to want the opposite
Of what they really mean; at times instead of choosing
Someone who shines like a burning star in the night sky;
They seem to want someone who crumbles, rusts, & allows time to simply pass them by…
I really wonder from time to time
What Do They Really Want?
Do they want good?
Do they want bad?
Do they want Faithful?
Do they want Cheater?
Do they want Real?
Do they want Fake?
Do they want respect?
Do they want Either?
Are they confused?
Are they afraid?
Do they care?
I mean I swear these are just a few thoughts that go through my mind from time to time
They go through the worst & some of the best relationships & then ask
“When will I find the right guy for me?”
When they already know the answer
They constantly fall for the same & when different does show up
They’d rather stay silent
& Average
& take a few sips from their cup
Instead of taking the offer or opportunity
To FINALLY grow up & CHANGE
But who am I to judge them, I mean I’m just someone with a simple question
Which is WHAT DO THEY REALLY WANT?
