staring down into an empty glass
remembering the past
when it was full and last
now it's empty, no more, gone
I've misplaced something
I forgot what is was
could of been a piece
or could it be a plug
maybe just some lost luv
laying around in lost & found
to this truth I am bound

that cannot be found
shouting out my decree
to a certain degree
when will we, be done
having to fight for equality
living below, poverty
hated for our painted faces
by those who are bias
and are racist, we die by the ton
shot with the gun
trying to explain to all the young
why the mean man won
why we strain our eyes
trying to see the true sun
through the peril rays of lies
it's hard to tell our cubs
regardless what is done
we are not Godless ones
so when you don't know
what to do, just love
because love is, the only thing
worth remembering
