I wish I were smarter

I wish I would have worked harder

I wish I could see my daughter

I wish my world were truly in order

I wish there were no barriers nor borders

I wish we all had wings to carry us

I wish I were a little more curious

I would not have lived so vicarious

I wish my pen were a wand, wand

everytime I picked it up, it would

bring a bit of luck to my people

like filling their pockets with some bucks

continuously until they've had enough

I just wish ish would get better that's all
