she lost everything
have you ever lost everything
she wanted the world to know
her fatal yet tragic blow
as the thought of it all
reach up pulling her to the floor
she laid there breathless
a women who couldn't
take no more, I guess
what had happened
had happened before
many times over
two small children
looked on in horror
while consuming
soggy cereal, two
children too young
to comprehend their
own harsh reality
her unborn child
struggled the stress
of the pressure upon
the womb, her eyes
glazed over as they
wandered about the room
home...less
help...less
hope...less
compelled with doom
if I spoke something
into her life at all
it would be...let go&fall
