there's wood in the stove
food in the oven
I guess in this house
there's plenty of loving
heat in the winter
ice tea when it's cold
friendly people
up and down the road
always willing to
help a neighbor
carry a heavy load
marriage is sweet
no one cheats
on their spouse
theirs a picket fence
in front of every house
on every block
in present view of
the towns clock
no one eats government
cheese, mice nor Meeces
there is no crime
no need for police
everyone's fit
there is no obesity
everyone works
collecting all their wages due
the tax collectors have left their booths
all of Gods children have shoes
no one gets the boot
