the big bang, injury to my brain
it's been so long, still feel the pang
wish I could disappear like

out of the ordinary, horrifying
something scary, too many elephants
in the room, skeletons in the closet
underneath my bed, the monsters dead
the drama unfolds, blunt trauma
to the frontal lobe, wide open
bleeding from the hole
it's way to much drama
 inside this place
all I need is a get away
somewhere out of space
a different neighborhood
play on a different field
get a different feel
sick of pain appeal
tears falling like meteorites
ready to catch a plane
take a flight on a jet
holding on to the wing
there's a song I wanna sing
hope you understand
the lyrics I wrote
ink faded pen broke
in deep rowing a boat
with you in mind
I want you to know
no matter how far you go
I won't be far behind
I just need a piece of mind
more sunshine
a few glasses of wine
the expensive kind
for those with good taste
a poem is a terrible thing to waste
