lucky charms, just belief systems
programs and structures
cookie cutter projects
prayer circles and hypocrites
bout to be hotter than a pot o grits
playing church in a chapel
scattered pieces of broken people
alter calls in bathroom stalls
cry if you will, cry if that's how you feel
sow reaping from what you grow
plant seed secretly let no one
know when or where you till
there is nothing stronger than the will

not even steal, hope if you will but
Hoping for the best, because New Hope
 is already a New mess
