 Responsibility means thinking before you act,

But​ ​nowadays​ ​it’s​ ​something​ ​we​ ​all​ ​seem​ ​to​ ​lack.

Paying​ ​attention​ ​to​ ​others​ ​and​ ​responding​ ​to​ ​their​ ​needs, 

​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​But​ ​while​ ​we​ ​are​ ​feeding​ ​their​ ​need,​ ​it​ ​turns​ ​into​ ​straight​ ​greed. 

Responsibility​​ ​is​ ​something​ ​in​ ​our​ ​soul,​ ​our​ ​body​ ​we​ ​all​ ​need. 

Growing​ ​up​ ​and​ ​getting​ ​older​ ​it’s​ ​something​ ​we​ ​forget​ ​to​ ​feed. 

Without​ ​responsibility​ ​our​ ​parents​ ​look​ ​at​ ​us​ ​with​ ​pity. 

Leaving​ ​the​ ​kitchen​ ​dirty,​ ​floor​ ​not​ ​swept,​ ​feeling​ ​kind​ ​of​ ​gritty. 

Now​ ​you​ ​on​ ​punishment,​ ​now​ ​you​ ​are​ ​frustrated, 

in​ ​the​ ​room​ ​punching​ ​the​ ​walls​ ​leaving​ ​your​ ​heart​ ​racing. 

Peeking​ ​out​ ​your​ ​room​ ​seeing​ ​everyone​ ​having​ ​fun, 

​ ​​ ​You’re​ ​thinking​ ​of​ ​inequity, â€‹Now​ ​this​ ​all​ ​goes​ ​back
