doggedly elicited fixed gaze
found me transfixed a mere
rolling stones throw
from performers I raptly
watched undulation of muscles,
which anatomical orchestration
kept me spellbound -
awed sans slack jawed
viz physiologically
oiled and chiseled
light and brawny
hue men and women
shape shifting
rhythmically synchronized
in tandem with varied soundtrack
whence muscles rippled
and swirled into
an edifying panoply
musical acoustics secondary
and upon cessation of somber notes
enhancement accentuated
per glissando melody
exorcised thru whirling dervishes
where poised sonnets
sans flirtatious coquettish ballerinas
devilishly defied death
like debonair silence
defied laws of physics
with nonpareil equilibrium
via un da feted souls
choreographed blithe
some evoking cascade
liquid fluid dynamics
silenced audience –
perpetual persistent
practice perceived -
punctuated psych with panache
despite lamentable
doleful notes blaring
buoyant see gulls
and gals flitting to and
fro hither and yon
casting mine frozen starry eyed
visual victual into
heavenly entrancement
while countenance remained
agape and slack jawed
rippling pliable humans –
as ragdoll contortionists
elegantly interweaving
swishing glissando movements
performers lithesome
seemingly weightless heft
hushed spectators breathlessly
slack jawed - hours
of grueling training
melded sinew and flesh
as symphonic oeuvre.
