I wish...
I did not have to wish
I wish I did not have to pray
for piece on earth
I wish everyone could be first
we would had they not
misconstrued the verse
word that we live by
what if they were mean for
our demise
I wish I did not have to
be so skeptical life is nothing
but a sad special with only a few
moments left to go
not even the righteous know
their left from their right
foot or hand finger to closed lips
hush tell not what thou know
speak to the masses
tell them you have a message
they will trod to your beckoning
those who know Genesis was not
the beginning of living creatures
I wish I had not listened
to those preachers
I should have challenged
most of my teachers
I wish they did tho, there be
someone worthy enough to follow
I rather stay in the booth or the boat
then to run behind someone
who sais to me let's go
