she screamed
no one acted like they heard her
no one liked her
everyone ignored her
they threw rocks and stones at her
her feelings did not matter
she spoke but could not
explain her pain
she was bleeding from
her open wounds
sustained by those who were
in the room
she had traveled so far
to find a friend
all she found was hateful
people
out to get her
she tried to hide her child
but couldn't find a sitter
who would sit with her
life is not as bad as it could be
life is not as good as it should be
just be glad you're not her
so many demons to conquer
