I can't stop the clock
it's not a stop watch
getting up
I'm down
3 floors off the ground
if I jump
will my thump
make a sound
I'm out
I'm in
climbing underground
wondering
who would put me
back together again
kin or friend
perhaps my
arch enemy
who tried to
stick a pen in me
by befriending me
you're offending me
it's too damn early
for good mornings
so I go back to sleep
for one more moment
of peace
