I fell asleep...a mere lyrical merchant Purchasing scenarios witnessed by my spiritual divergent I couldn't lie.. At first, of these gifts i was greatly allergic, But no allergy could unbalance the gravity of my spiritual discernment.. Discerning those who my subconscious deemed deserves it. So...I fell asleep, Regardless of how you word it, I fell in place and still slept when the dirt hit, I slept even When my prolific dreams were no longer fervent, And the citizens of my world, underwent an emotional ferment. I still wonder if I'll ever awake. Shoot I still wonder if it'll be too late But i'm asleep right now.. Not because i was never awake, But because others realized i was gone and carried on, knowing they're true intentions would intend to persuade the bait... ~ I was the bait, Taunting the mysteriousness of their wanted dreams Fondled my confusion till questions compartmentalize flowing evenly in these rapid streams, I was aware things were only seamless, But both sides of the fence insists the other grass is the greenest. I was aware of the offense Waiting for them to cue us To quote my spoken word made innocuous And judged by judged men to mentally auction us. So yeah, i fell asleep, Only because these boring peasants shop for lyrics rather thriftily, And infuse their rhymes with dead quotes labeled epiphany Demanding an applause and your lack of Understanding me Mocks the greatest gift in me.... The domino effect caused the shift you see Never again to resurrect who i use to be So i fell asleep happy Alone in my thoughts deciphering poetry from the old me. Paralysis
