The spirit of Poetry she, is upon me
Poetry she came to me one night, her wings alight
Poetry she, brushed me with her luminosity
Poetry she, was the angel that came to save my life
Shimmering glimmer shining through the darkest night
Poetry she, raised me up from all who had forsaken me
Poetry she, gave me breath when I could no longer breathe
Poetry she, was there when everyone else chose to leave
Poetry embraced me when there was no comforting insight
Poetry she, gave me blood, when I was drained by those I loved
Poetry she, reached in, pulling me out of the hands of misery
Poetry she, was always there, when no one cared to be
When I am gone, I will not be long forgotten of fore
it is written in the skies and can be seen in stars at night
Poetry she, will always be there for those I love
