it's such a waste of time
walking round blind
ignoring or not seeing the signs
sorry for the flames
are they too bright
woke up in the morning
it still was night
famished in need of a bite
thirsty in need of a Sprite
checked Indeed to see
who was in need of me
jumping through hoops
sitting at table, unable to
serve soup without a ladled
couldn't tell salt from sugar
without a label attached to it
tasting the bitters without a chase
consuming all green vegetables
without a waste, carrots without
cinnamon sugar has no taste
in the kitchen cooking is
a good look for me, don't want
to hear pots boiling, turn up the TV
it's too easy to lose a few fingers
putting your hand in the mouth
of the hungry, you will not find
any recipes for wealth in a book
so learn to cook and feed yourself
