I need to apologize
I went a little overboard
I know you were over joyed
to see me again
I had a lot on my mind
I needed to get off my chest
sometimes the guilty must confess
hurt feeling do heal in time
about the same amount of time
it takes to get over the hill
sometimes someone has to suffer
in the shine of another
just trying to get over the struggle
some need physicians
some are bent on vengeance
some turn to drugs or lightening in a jug
how can you know love
if you never been touched, before
if you never been taught the course
how can you show affection to another
you try and fail, cry feeling so Adele
heartbroken and shattered into pieces
of matter like a broken glass bell
falling off a cleft of a cliff
some jump some slip some get
pushed to the edge of time where they
go out of their minds, it's crazy but. it is so sometimes
