I heard your cry in the night though it tugs at my heart I hope you find comfort in these words to fight from the day in that room from which I came through my mothers womb never to return again the nurse she is my kin the nurse she has been kind the nurse she is friend not foe of mine she nurtured me from the depths of sickness unto the shores of health she is not selfish thinking of only herself taking our temp keeping a close eye on the drip we call her in the night ringing her to come to our side assisting the one who tells us to stick out our tongue and say "ahh" the sound that seems to banish the Blah, she's always in the room in tuned with tones and frequencies ministering extensive intensive care the mannerism of hospitality wielding a wand of Peace & Love at will bearing light where it seems there is no night nothing seems to change in a mist of a shift change she angelically remains the same she is the obedient angel on call making her rounds in sickness in health until death do us part she is the angel in the room she is the healer of ones heart she will forever rein fore her duties are not in vein she is Gods goddess there is no greater love than this for one to care for another with not as much as a kiss
