I'm a modern day merchant
Buy, sell and know this for certain
The victor will claim any spoil
So I sell serpents snake oil
To master the art of the deal here's what you do
Get others to do what they don't what to do
Nobody wants to spend money or go into debt
Until someone tells them what they don't know yet
Fictional wants and needs
Is the fuel that powers the engines of greed
Got Cable and internet still there nothing to watch and read
So we've got this desire to feed
Appetites for things to improve our life - it's a crime
Most are not worth our time
And few are worth our dime
