My voice no longer mine
The sound of a chirping bird comes from my lips
My black skin now feathers
My life no longer limited to four corners and a door never opened
I am one with my new surroundings never wanting my feet to touch the cold surface of nothingness
The voice of love in my ears as I close my eyes and listen
I am home...
